The Spring Valley Cardinals season ended with a level three playoff loss at Regis.  The Cardinals had a great season and would like to thank all of the fans for your support throughout the season.  The Cardinals finished the season 9-3 overall, the best record since the 2003 team that went 10-2 that year and also lost in the 3rd round of the playoffs.  The Cardinals were led this year by a very strong and determined senior class and they will be greatly missed next year.  Thanks for all that you have done for the Spring Valley football team and community.

Also, a special congratulations to the following players for earning Leader-Telegram All Northwest honors:

Troy Rudesill                 2nd Team Defensive Lineman

Kyle Bosshart                Special Mention Runningback

Steven VonHaden          Honorable Mention Linebacker

Cody Shafer                  Honorable Mention Offensive Line

The Spring Valley JV team ended the season last night with a 20-6 win over the Boyceville Bulldogs.  This caps off an undefeated season for the JV squad with a record of 7-0!  Great job and congratulations on a great season.
